    BRIEF CV

    Felix Wong is the Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of New South Wales, and the Medical Director of the Women Health Service at Liverpool Hospital in Sydney, Australia. He graduated from the University of Hong Kong in 1976. He travelled extensively and continued his postgraduate study overseas in Britain and Australia. His qualifications include a Master in Medicine from Singapore, Doctor of Medicine from Hong Kong, Fellowships of two Surgical Colleges in Britain, and three Fellowships from Colleges of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in Hong Kong, Britain and Australia. Professor Wong has published three books and more than 140 papers in local and international journals. His research interests are on molecular genetic study on cancer, Chinese Medicine, endoscopic surgery and new technology development. He has strong links with many academic units in China and has been appointed as honorary visiting professors from Sen Yet Sun University at Guangzhou, Yangzhou Medical College at Yangzhou, Shantou Medical University, Capital University of Medical Science and Peking Union Medical College in Beijing…etc. He has also been invited as a guest speaker and/or as an organising committee member in up to more than 100 national and international endoscopy and O&G workshops over the last 10 years.
